August 25, 2009 Skype book chat with Marathon County, Wisconsin Public Library. September 12, 2009 North Carolina Literary Festival in Chapel Hill, North Carolina I'll be reading and discussing The Forest of Hands and Teeth on the Children's Main Stage at 3:50 on Saturday afternoon. After the talk I'll be signing books for about an hour in the same place. The entire festival is free and open to the public. September 25, 2009 Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance trade show, Greenville, South Carolina I'll be on the "Got Us Shaking in our Boots" panel on Friday afternoon. September 26-27, 2009 SCBWI-Carolinas "Reach for the Stars" Conference I'll be speaking at the conference and signing The Forest of Hands and Teeth. October 15, 2009 Post-Apocalyptic Panel discussion with me, Scott Westerfeld, Michael Grant and James Dashner, hosted by Barnes & Noble.
